Insurance help
Water damage? We fix it —
and document everything.
A burst pipe or leak is stressful enough without worrying about what your insurer will ask for. We stop the water, repair the fault, and hand you the evidence: dated photos, moisture readings, cause of the leak and a written scope of the work.
Your claim stays yours. We do not contact insurers, submit claims or negotiate settlements on anyone's behalf.
- Dated photos
Before, during and after the repair, while the evidence is still intact.
- Written report
Cause of the leak, what failed, where it was, and exactly what we repaired.
- Moisture readings
Calibrated damp-meter readings taken on the day, recorded in the report.
- Itemised invoice
A clear record of emergency work carried out to stop further damage.
After the water stops
Three things, in the right order.
When you call us after a leak, this is how we protect both the property and the facts.
- 1
Stop the water
We find the source and bring it under control — burst pipe, failed joint, leaking appliance or concealed leak. The sooner this happens, the less there is to claim for.
- 2
Record the cause
Before the wall goes back or the floor goes down, we photograph the failed part, the damage, and the path the water took. Once it's covered up, that evidence is gone.
- 3
Hand you the report
You get a written account of what failed, why, and what we did. Use it for your insurer, your landlord, your managing agent — or keep it for your records. It's your document.
Clear and honest
We're plumbers, not claims handlers.
Handling, presenting or negotiating an insurance claim on someone else's behalf is a regulated activity. We stay on the right side of the line by sticking to what we are: emergency plumbers.
That means we don't deal with, contact, speak to, liaise with or negotiate with your insurer. We do give you a clear, technical record of the leak and the repair — the exact evidence insurers usually ask for.
- No "managed claims service"
- No promises about what your policy will pay
- No speaking to loss adjusters on your behalf
- Just honest repair work + a proper record
